Mexican fiesta is one of the most popular themes out there. And that’s exactly what makes it so challenging to create something unique - something that catches the eye and makes players want to come back again and again. So when ELA Games came to us with Piñatas Festival, we didn’t want to just decorate another slot with a collection of Mexican cliches.We wanted to create a celebration players could actually feel.

Meet Our Crew

We created and invited to the party a mariachi musician, a fiery bull, a festival girl, and a whole colorful crew of piñatas - each with their own personality, silhouette, and color language.

We had two goals: to capture that joyful feeling of a real celebration when you see the art up close, while keeping every character instantly recognizable when scaled down to slot-symbol size.

That’s why every art element has its own character. Each one has a little story to tell.The classic low symbols were transformed into colorful Mexican-inspired objects that share the same visual DNA as the rest of the game.

No random elements. One world — from beginning to end.

The game takes place on a festive street at that perfect moment between day and night, when the sky turns pink and orange.

The reels are part of the environment - premium-looking and seamlessly integrated into the festive street around them. Big Wins became a visual pleasure of their own, because just looking beautiful isn’t enough. After all, it’s not just a number on the screen - it’s the adrenaline boost the player came for. Isn’t it?

Behind this entire celebration of color stood one simple rule: the game still had to be easy to read.

• Every symbol, multiplier, and UI element was first designed and tested at phone-screen size.
• We tested silhouettes. Color separation. Contrast. Visual hierarchy.
• Only when everything worked on the smallest screen did we move on to creating the final art at full size.
• That balance became the foundation of the project: enough detail to make the world feel alive, and enough restraint to keep the game clear and easy to read.
• From the tiny lobby icon to the biggest win screen, Piñatas Festival was created as one unified universe.
